Sapa is a town in the Lao Cai Province in northwestern Vietnam. Ta Phin has gone from being a stranger to one of the hottest check-in points in Sapa for young people. However, the tribal-rich cultures have not been changed by modern life. Since 1998, it has become a hand-made brocade village. Ta Phin is home to two different ethnic minorities. You can explore its interesting diversities on a trip.

Follow the buffalo trail through rice fields to the villages of the Black Hmong minority people at Ma Tra is 5km southeast of Sapa Town. Although not far from Sapa town, these villages continue to follow their traditional lifestyle passed down through generations. Black Hmong houses are typically built using rammed earth and have few windows to keep the interior warm during winter. After learning about Hmong culture, return to Sapa by vehicle.
