FULL DAY TU LAN EXPERIENCE

Your adventure begins at 7:00 AM when your guide picks you up from your hotel in Phong Nha for a scenic drive to Tan Hoa Village, home to local ethnic minority communities.

After a safety briefing and equipment check, you will embark on a 2-kilometer trek through peaceful peanut fields and buffalo pastures before reaching the Rao Nan River. After crossing the river, continue climbing a gentle slope to the entrance of Rat Cave.

Equipped with helmets, headlamps, and safety gear, you will explore approximately 300 meters inside Rat Cave, one of the most impressive dry caves in the Tu Lan Cave System. Marvel at its stunning limestone formations and unique geological features.

Following a delicious picnic lunch, the adventure continues at Hung Ton Cave, where you will descend a 15-meter ladder while secured with safety harnesses to explore the remaining dry passage. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to see fossils of marine species dating back millions of years.

Next, move into the cave’s water passage. Wearing life jackets, you will swim through the underground river, cross a small reef, and emerge into the picturesque To Mo Valley, surrounded by spectacular natural scenery.

In the afternoon, return along the Rao Nan River and walk through the surrounding farmland before heading back to Phong Nha. The tour concludes at approximately 7:00 PM.
