HALF DAY CU CHI TUNNELS BY FISHEYE SPEEDBOAT
Embark on a scenic 1.5-hour journey on a local speedboat, cruising down the picturesque Saigon River. Enjoy the refreshing breeze and captivating riverside views as you speed towards the Cu Chi historical site. Upon arrival, prepare to be amazed by the intricate network of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. These tunnels stand as a testament to the Vietnamese people’s resilience and ingenuity during the Vietnam War. Originally built during the fight against French colonialism in the 1940s, the tunnels were expanded over 25 years to become a vast underground city.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can choose to explore a section of the tunnels yourself. Be aware that this might involve some crawling and crouching, and you might get a little dusty. For those who prefer to stay above ground, there are still plenty of exhibits and displays to explore, offering insights into the tunnels’ history and significance.
