DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Afternoon: The bus and tour guide will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport and take you to Hanoi.

Evening: Enjoy dinner at a restaurant. Check-in at the hotel and rest. 

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and check out. 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: The shuttle bus will pick you up at the hotel and depart for Ha Long, a famous heritage site in Vietnam recognized twice by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Noon: Arrive at Tuan Chau Island and board the 3-star equivalent Cruise. The captain will brief the group on safety regulations on the boat. Check-in to yo ur cabin and enjoy lunch. The cruise will pass by various islands with interesting shapes.

Afternoon: Go kayaking around Bo Nau Cave to explore Ha Long Bay. Return to the boat and head to Soi Sim Island. Enjoy free time to relax, swim at Soi Sim Beach, or hike to the top of the mountain for a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay and watch the sunset over the bay.

Evening: Return to the boat to rest and have dinner. Overnight on the boat.

Morning: Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the bay and join a Tai Chi session on the deck. Have breakfast on the boat, then visit Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay. Continue the journey by cruising past landmarks such as Dog Stone, Ba Hang Fishing Village, etc. Participate in a cooking class on the boat, where you will learn to make Vietnamese spring rolls.

Noon: Enjoy lunch on the boat, then check out. Return to Tuan Chau Island and take the bus to Ninh Binh, a region with many new and attractive heritage sites.

Afternoon: Arrive in Ninh Binh and check in at Bai Dinh Hotel, located within the Bai Dinh Pagoda complex. The hotel features traditional wooden architecture.

Evening: Have dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the hotel, enjoying the peaceful and serene atmosphere at Bai Dinh.

Morning: Wake up early to watch the sunrise and enjoy the fresh, peaceful morning atmosphere at Bai Dinh. After breakfast, visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, including the Tam Bao Hall, Quan The Am Hall, Bell Tower, and the Arhat Corridor. Take an electric car back to the hotel and check out.

Noon: Have lunch at a restaurant and take a rest.

Afternoon: Begin the journey to visit Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. Take a boat ride along the Sao Khe River to visit Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Nau Ruou Cave, and admire the beauty of Trang An, which is part of the Trang An World Heritage Complex recognized by UNESCO. After the Trang An tour, take the bus back to Hanoi.

Evening: Dinner is on your own arrangement. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel. Free time to explore and shop in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

Noon: Lunch is on your own arrangement. 11:30 AM: The bus and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the airport for the flight to Hue on VN1543 at 1:40 PM.

Afternoon: 2:40 PM: Arrive in Hue. The local bus and tour guide will pick you up and take you to visit the Hue Imperial Citadel, including Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, and other ancient palaces of the Hue Royal Court. After the visit, check in at the hotel and rest.

Evening: Have dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel. Go to Toa Kham Wharf and take a dragon boat along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous pagodas in Hue, situated on a hill overlooking the romantic Perfume River. After visiting the pagoda, take a car to visit the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, Emperor Tu Duc, or Emperor Khai Dinh, who were famous kings of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Noon: Return to the hotel to check out and have lunch at a restaurant.

Afternoon: Take a bus from Hue to the ancient town of Hoi An. Check in at the hotel and rest.

Evening: Enjoy dinner with Hoi An’s specialties such as cao lau, wonton noodles, and banh dap. Overnight in Hoi An.

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel and check out. The bus and tour guide will pick you up and depart from Hoi An to visit the Marble Mountains, where you will explore the scenic area and visit Linh Ung Pagoda.

Noon: Have lunch at a restaurant. Check in at the hotel and rest.

Afternoon: Visit Son Tra Peninsula, where you can see the 67-meter-tall statue of the Goddess of Mercy (Quan Am) and enjoy a panoramic view of Da Nang city from above.

Evening: Dinner is on your own arrangement.

Morning: Wake up to watch the sunrise over My Khe Beach. Have breakfast and check out of the hotel. Around 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: The bus and tour guide will pick you up and take you to Da Nang Airport for the flight to Nha Trang on VN7495 at 10:35 AM.

Noon: 12:00 PM: Arrive at Cam Ranh Airport. The local bus and tour guide will pick you up and take you to a restaurant for lunch.

Afternoon: Check in at the hotel and rest. Visit Long Son Pagoda and the Po Nagar Cham Towers. If time permits, the bus will take you to the Thap Ba Hot Springs Center where you can relax and rejuvenate with hot mineral water (hot spring bathing costs are at your own expense).

Evening: Have dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Nha Trang

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel. Head to the cable car station and take the cable car to Vinpearl Land, a paradise of entertainment in Nha Trang with indoor and outdoor games, an aquarium, dolphin shows, and a water park. 

Spend the whole day enjoying the activities at Vinpearl Land. Lunch is on your own arrangement.

Evening: Have dinner at a restaurant. Free time to stroll along Nha Trang beach at night.

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel. Free time to explore Nha Trang until the bus and tour guide pick you up and take you to Cam Ranh Airport for the flight to Hanoi.

Cancellations:

 

• Refunds will not be given for unused or canceled services after the tour arrangements have commenced.
• Tour participants are required to make a deposit of at least 30% of the total tour value.
• Cancellation policy:
  • Cancellation 10 days or more before departure: 30% of the total tour cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation 6-9 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation 3-5 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation 1-2 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation of all services by the tour participant must be requested by email, fax, or phone (Zalo, Skype, Whatsapp, etc).
• Melon Travel is not responsible for any cancellation requests that have not been received and confirmed with you. In this case, cancellation fees or no-show fees will apply.

 

Please note:

• For air ticket reservations, we require the guests’ full names AS THEY APPEAR IN THEIR PASSPORTS. Airfares and reservations are always subject to change until paid in full and ticketed.
• Airfares are subject to increase without prior notice.
• In Vietnam Airlines economy class baggage allowance is 20 kg per person. Excess baggage may be subject to overweight charges by the airline. Melon Travel cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the passenger’s belongings.
• The transportation rates included in our quotation were based on the fuel rate of VND 19,500-20,500 per litre. We reserve the right to adjust our prices periodically in case of fuel price increases by the Government and subsequent price increases by our suppliers when such cumulative costs from our suppliers exceed 10% and above.
• Surcharges for night-time services may apply. Our standard transfers are operated from 06:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs. Surcharges will be applied for arrivals after 23:00 hrs and arrivals or departures before 06:00 hrs.
• We reserve the right to adjust our prices in case of new directives of the applicable VAT and any other taxes and levies imposed by the Central Government and/or local Governments and/or regulatory state bodies.
• This is a quotation only and neither reservations for services nor hotel bookings have been made.

Important notice:

• In predominately Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim countries we ask that you dress respectfully and avoid shorts/skirts and singlets/tanktops when visiting places of worship. Guests are requested to cover knees and shoulders. Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers and ladies should wear long trousers or long skirts. Shoes are generally removed at the entrance to pagodas. Visitors who do not abide to these rules of conduct may not be allowed to enter the places of worship.
• Certain parts of the tours on offer are provided by independent third parties, such as airlines, hotels, transport operators and local tourist offices. Melon Travel is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage caused thereby to the tourists, including those occurring outside of the normal touring programmers. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, natural disaster, political actions and unrest shall be borne by the tourists.
• We advise that due to frequent flight changes, delays and cancellations by the various domestic airlines and trains we cannot fully guarantee that the proposed itinerary can be carried out as planned. Based on our experience, changes of departure times and/ or cancellations can occur at very short notice even after confirmation of a flight has been received. The same applies for train travel: Schedule changes occur frequently; often without prior notification. In case of schedule changes or flight cancellations, we always try everything possible to arrange an alternate program within the framework of the original quoted costs. However, we reserve the right to charge any cost exceeding the original budget to the tour operator/ travel agent or to the participant of a tour after consultation with the agent.
• Programmers, prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of proposal submission and are subject to change thereafter without advance notice until all services have been paid in full.
• We strongly advise leaving valuable items (money, passport, credit cards, jewelry, sensitive documents, laptop computer, etc.) in the hotel safe. During excursions and roundtrips, personal belongings, especially money and valuables should NEVER be left on vehicles, even during short breaks, and carried around at all times.Melon Travel is not responsible for any loss or theft. 
• Vietnam being a developing country is in full process of upgrading its infrastructure. Therefore, driving overland can be cumbersome due to ongoing road construction.
