Start your day with a a hotel pick-up and a comfortable speedboat ride along the picturesque Saigon River for about 1.5 hours to reach Cu Chi historical site. Upon arrival, explore the underground network of tunnels at Cu Chi, a testament to the determined spirit of the Vietnamese during the Vietnam War.
These tunnels, a testament to Vietnamese resilience during the Vietnam War, were meticulously constructed in the 1940s and expanded over the years. Imagine a hidden city, complete with meeting areas, living quarters, and storage facilities, allowing the Viet Cong to conduct operations and evade detection. At their peak, these tunnels stretched an astonishing 200 kilometers. Today, two sections of the tunnels are open to the public at Ben Dinh. Your guide will be on hand to give guidance on the degree of expected difficulty for those wishing to explore the tunnels.
After exploring Cu Chi, we’ll hop back on the speedboat and enjoy a scenic return ride to the city center.
