FULL DAY BA VI ECO LIFE (9 HOURS)Â

Ba Vi is a rural mountainous area west of the bustling city of Hanoi. The stunning natural scenery combined with friendly locals makes Ba Vi a truly authentic experience. Escape the noise and crowds of the city, and immerse yourself in a peaceful natural excursion.
The park is a popular tourist destination, and is known for its beautiful scenery, including mountains, forests, and waterfalls. There are a number of hiking trails in the park, as well as several historical and cultural sites. The tour sets out from your hotel bright and early around 07.30 am, when there is less traffic, for a 1.5-hour drive to Ba Vi.

Upon arrival, drive onward to Ri village and stroll through the immense tea plantations which play an important role in providing tea products for the whole north of Vietnam. There is a chance to help a local family to harvest tea leaves (seasonal), and learn how to pick the best part of the tea tree to make the most wonderful beverage as Vietnam traditional tea.
Engage in a casual talk with the tea farmâs owner, who is a veteran of the Vietnam War. While sharing his life stories, he will also show you some tips on how to make aromatic green tea.

Later this morning, drive onward to Moc village. Enjoy the daily rustic life and get hands-on cooking Northern family dishes under the guidance of the host. After lunch in a cozy ambience, opt to walk or cycle around the village to explore local culture and traditional workshops making either conical-hat or tofu or farming tools.
End the trip, soak your foot in warm water with herbs following the traditional recipes of the Muong ethnic minority. Bid farewell to the friendly host family.
