A GLIMPSE OF CHAU DOC WITH LOCAL BOAT
Day 1: Sai Gon -Cai Be – Can Tho
7:30 am- 10:00 am
Depart from Saigon by road (around 7:30 AM) for a 2.5-hour journey south towards the Mekong Delta. Arriving in Cai Be, a charming river town. You will board a typical motorized boat in this region and begin your exploration.

10:00 am- 11:30 am
Begin exploring the Mekong Delta, one of Vietnam’s most beautiful landscapes. Travel to Tan Phong Island for a biking or walking tour through village paths to observe the daily life of local residents. You can artisans weave dried water hyacinths into various products (baskets, bags, etc.).Enjoy a relaxing at a local garden with traditional music while sipping tea.

12:00 am
Go to An Binh Island, and savor a delicious lunch featuring authentic Mekong specialties at the Ut Trinh family eatery.

14:00 pm
Visit a brick kiln and witness the traditional, handmade brick-making process passed down through generations

Day 2: Can Tho -Chau Doc
7:30 am- 9:00 am
Get on a local motorized boat for a cruise to the small-scale Cai Rang floating market. In the past. it was lively trading, the boats had all manner of groceries. Now, development of infrastructure, activities trading are less than.
9:30-11:30 am
Racing 10 km along Muong Dinh canal, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Meander along narrow village roads, pass through lush fruit gardens.
13:00 pm
Visiting a Fine Rice Vermicelli – Banh Hoi – workshop, where you can witness the process of making this traditional Vietnamese delicacy.
Day 3: Can Tho-Chau Doc- Sai Gon
6:30 am- 11:30 am
You will visit a floating village and fishery to learn about the lives of the countless families whose livelihoods rely on this industry. An early morning visit to floating homes where villagers cultivate freshwater fish and shrimps in nets and wire baskets under their houses and sell them to passing boats.
11:30-13:00
Visiting a Khmer village before returning Saigon with lunch route at a local restaurant.
