Ben Tre is known as a land of coconut and one of the major agricultural products in the Mekong Delta. It is an interesting landscape that you can take a boat ride along the river of coconut island, visit local cottage industry and enjoy the scenery around laid-back villages.

2D1N BEN TRE WATER WAY S WITH MANGO CRUISE

Day 1: Saigon – Ben Tre – Mo Cay – Vung Liem

8:00-10:00 am:

The car takes you from Saigon to Ba Lai bridge in Ben Tre.

10:00-12:00 am:

You will board your Mango cruise boat at Ba Dung pier and head to An Hoa River. The cruise will take you to Phong Nam village in Giong Trom, where you will  take a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants. Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Visit the coconut spirit factory before starting your bike or rickshaw trip around the village.

12:00-13:30 pm:

Relax and enjoy lunch at Mango Restaurant

13:30-15:30 pm:

Tourists will be going to Mo Caycanals. Stop for a visit at the coconut processing

workshop where you can see how the locals utilize every bit of the coconut.

15:30-17:30 pm:

Continue cruising to Vung Liem province and stop for a visit at the brick making factory. Here you will see how bricks are made using traditional methods, which are centuries old.

Day 2: Ben Tre – Saigon

8:00-10:00 am: Tourists will explored the town of Vung Liem by bicycle. Visit the Happy Buddha Temple, a beautiful and characteristic Khmer Temple of this small town. Then continue on to visit a colorful temple of Cao Dai religion which began in Vietnam back in 1926. Their principle is simple all religions have common teaching of love and justice and it’s humans duty to promote world peace.After that, return to your cruise and refresh.

10:00 – 12:00 am:

Check out and you will transfer to Vung Liem Market, where your driver is await to take you back to Saigon. .
