Its French heritage is clearly visible in its many colonial buildings and tree-lined boulevards, while Chinese influence is evident in the city’s temples and gardens, and a modern café culture also flourishes.

MOON GARDEN HOMESTAY

Day 1: Ha Noi – Ky Son

From 7:00 am – 12:00 am

Ky Son village it is one of the few remaining old-style villages close to Hanoi, known as some of the best-preserved villages in terms of their ancient architecture and the unique character of their people. On arrival at Moon Garden Homestay in Ky Son village, you are welcomed by local fresh green tea. Relax, then join a hands-on cooking class.

From 13:00 m – 13:30 pm

After lunch, enjoy having your fingers dipped in a fragrant lime bowl and the traditional herbal hand massage.

From 14:00 m – 17:00 pm

Free time for relaxing or engaging in casual talk with the host family to learn more about traditional customs. Around mid-afternoon, hop-on a local bike to discover the village. Depending on the season, you can help villagers transplant seedlings and harvest agricultural products such as rice, cassava, corn, sweet potatoes, and cucumber.

From 17:00 m – 18:00 pm

For more adventurers, cycle to the ancient Duong Lam village, renowned for its unique houses built with wooden frames and fortified with laterites. Return to Moon Garden in the early evening.

Day 2: Ky Son – Ha Noi

From 7:00 am – 12:00 am

Optional joining Yijinjing traditional exercises in the early morning. After breakfast, just indulge yourself in the garden until 10.00am, transfer back to Hanoi.
