Full description
Visit the Bach Ma Visitor Center to learn about the park’s ecosystem and bird diversity, especially the Crested Argus, the iconic bird featured on the Bach Ma National Park logo. Continue to Km12, where guests transfer to motorbikes.
Begin a guided birdwatching trek through the rainforest. Equipped with binoculars, search for rare bird species found in Bach Ma. Listen to the sounds of birds as every step brings a chance to spot colorful species and explore one of Vietnam’s richest biodiversity areas.
Besides the rich birdlife, guests may also have the opportunity to see the Red-shanked Douc Langur, one of the world’s most beautiful primates, as well as rare pheasant species and a diverse range of plant life.
Arrive at Hai Vong Dai (Sea Observation Post) at an elevation of 1,450 meters, offering spectacular panoramic views. Stop here for lunch.
Afternoon
The golden birdwatching hours are from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, when bird activity reaches its peak. This is the ideal time to observe, photograph, and capture rare moments as forest birds appear with their colorful plumage and vibrant wings.
Return along the same trail to Km12, then transfer back to Hue.
End of the tour. Return along the same trail to Km12, where a waiting vehicle will take you back and drop you off at your hotel in Hue.
