Option 1: Half-Day Tour – Train Street Visit & Handicraft Workshop with Deaf Artisans

07:00 – Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Start your morning with a visit to the famous Train Street. Enjoy a cup of authentic Vietnamese egg coffee while watching the train rumble past just meters away—one of Hanoi’s most unforgettable experiences.

08:00 – Continue to the KymViet Workshop.

09:00 – Receive a warm welcome at KymViet with complimentary refreshments.

09:15 – Discover the inspiring story of KymViet, a social enterprise dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities, including deaf and non-speaking individuals, people with dwarfism, and those with physical disabilities.

Through a short presentation and video, learn how KymViet transforms challenges into opportunities and how your visit directly contributes to supporting its mission.

You will also learn a few basic sign language phrases and have the opportunity to communicate with the artisans in their own language—a simple yet meaningful way to build genuine connections.

09:45 – Begin the handicraft workshop.

Guided by the artisans, you’ll learn how to stuff, stitch, and assemble your own adorable soft toy. This is more than just a craft activity—it is a chance to share smiles, conversations, and encouragement with people who have overcome extraordinary challenges.

No prior crafting experience is needed, as the artisans will happily assist you throughout the process to ensure your handmade creation turns out beautifully.

By participating, you are helping support their livelihoods, promoting independence, and giving them greater opportunities to share their talents with the world.

10:15 – Enjoy a refreshment break with light snacks and drinks.

10:30 – Complete your handicraft.

If you finish early, take time to explore the production area, browse handmade products, or chat with the artisans to learn more about their daily lives, hopes, and dreams.

11:00 – Closing session with a group photo and reflection.

Receive your handmade souvenir—a keepsake filled with both cotton and compassion.

Option 2: Full-Day Tour – Train Street Visit, Handicraft Workshop & Ha Thai Lacquerware Village

11:00 – Enjoy a delicious local Vietnamese lunch and take a short break.

12:30 – Travel to Ha Thai Lacquerware Village, renowned for its centuries-old lacquer art tradition.

13:00 – Arrive and receive a warm welcome at the village.

13:15 – Visit a family-run lacquerware workshop where traditional techniques have been carefully preserved and passed down through generations.

13:30 – Step inside a local artisan’s home to learn about the intricate lacquer-making process before painting your own lacquer artwork.

14:00 – Unleash your creativity as you decorate your own unique lacquer product.

15:30 – Conclude the workshop.

You may leave your artwork at the studio for finishing or take it home immediately for an additional fee.
