Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Hanoi. Head to Van Phuc Silk Village, Vietnam’s oldest silk village, famous for more than 1,000 years of traditional weaving. Visit local workshops and observe artisans making silk on wooden looms. Learn about the weaving, dyeing, and finishing process. Enjoy shopping for authentic silk scarves, clothing, and accessories.

Next, experience the beauty of Vietnam’s iconic conical hat, the Non La, handmade for generations in Chuong Village. Watch artisans skillfully create hats from bamboo and palm leaves. Try making or decorating your own conical hat and learn the cultural meaning of the Non La in Vietnamese daily life.

Continue to Ha Thai Lacquer Art Village, one of northern Vietnam’s most well-known lacquer craft villages. Discover the traditional lacquer-making process, from layering and polishing to detailed hand-painting. Visit family-run workshops and see how this centuries-old art form is used to create paintings, trays, and decorative objects.

Continue to Bat Trang Pottery Village, dating back to the 14th century. Observe the traditional pottery-making process from clay shaping to kiln firing.
