Option 1: 1-Day Trekking Tour – Rice Terraces & Ethnic Villages
08:30 am – Pickup from your accommodation in Ha Giang City
Travel by car to a nearby rural village
Begin a scenic trek through rice terraces and peaceful countryside
Visit local Tay and Dao ethnic minority homes
Learn about daily life, farming practices, and local traditions
Stop at a picturesque waterfall near Ha Giang city
Lunch with a local Tay family, featuring traditional home-cooked dishes
Afternoon visit to Cấm Mountain for panoramic views over Ha Giang City

  • The Ha Giang Loop is an exciting road trip of about 350 km over several days, with long but beautiful rides. Please bring comfortable clothing and suitable gear for changing weather and riding conditions.
  • Safety is our top priority. Helmets must be worn at all times, and guests are asked to follow the guide’s instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.
  • Accommodation is in local homestays or simple guesthouses, offering an authentic experience of life in the mountains. Meals are traditional local dishes, and while facilities are basic, they are clean and comfortable.
  • We recommend bringing a small backpack for essentials on the motorbike. Larger luggage can be safely stored at our hostel in Ha Giang City.
  • Optional bus transfers are available from places like Sapa, Ninh Binh, and Ha Long. Just let us know if you need help arranging transport.
