Full description
Our tour includes cycling, visiting a vegetable village, exploring a local market, experiencing a basket boat ride, and enjoying Kosher-style food at each stop.

First, we will start with a short 10-minute bike ride from the meeting point to Tra Que Vegetable Village, the largest and most famous vegetable garden in Hoi An. Here, you will have the chance to talk with local farmers, learn about the different vegetables and herbs grown in the garden, and discover the unique farming methods that create the special flavors found only here.

After that, you will get to try Tam Huu (Three Friends spring rolls) and Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancake). These are two signature dishes of the village and they use many of the herbs grown right in the garden. Tam Huu is especially iconic. When people talk about Tra Que Vegetable Village, they always mention Tam Huu.

On the way to the next destination, you will try Pho Bo (Vietnamese beef noodle soup), which is considered the most famous dish in Vietnam. When talking about Vietnamese cuisine, Pho is always the first dish that comes to mind.

Next, you will cycle to a local market, a small market where almost everything is fresh every day. You will learn about Vietnamese coffee, rice paper, Mi Quang noodles, spices, and the different fruits sold at the market. Our guide will also share useful tips on how to identify fresh fish and seafood. Depending on the season, you will get to taste some of the fruits sold at the market, as well as sweet dessert soup (che) and rice cracker.

The next stop is the Bay Mau Coconut Forest, a must-visit destination when exploring Hoi An. Here you will experience riding a basket boat, a traditional round boat used by local fishermen to travel along the river and through the coconut forest. During the ride, you will also see local performances such as basket boat spinning, karaoke singing, and traditional fishing demonstrations.

After about 45 minutes on the basket boat, you will take a short rest at a restaurant and then enjoy vegetarian Cao Lau, a famous Hoi An noodle dish, along with a local dessert made from nipa palm (water coconut).

Finally, after a short rest, we will cycle back to the meeting point, concluding the tour.
