Day 1: Hanoi to Sapa, Exploring Lao Chai and Ta Van Ethnic Villages (Lunch, Dinner)

Your day begins with a luxurious Limousine pickup from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarters at approximately 6:30 am. The journey to Sapa via the highway unveils breathtaking North Vietnamese mountain landscapes. Arriving in Sapa around 12:30 pm, you’ll be greeted by a local tour guide at our Sapa office. Here, you can safely store your larger luggage and freshen up with a complimentary hot shower.

Following this, your guide will lead you to a local restaurant for a delightful lunch before embarking on your trek. Trek through captivating rice terraces along the stunning Muong Hoa valley, arriving at the Hmong village of Ly Chai. There, you’ll relish a warm welcome with tea at a local family’s home, discovering their unique architectural style. Your journey continues through beautiful rice terraces and a serene stream, eventually reaching the Ta Van village of the Dzay ethnic group.

In Ta Van, you’ll engage in a cooking class hosted by a local family, sharing dinner and learning about the fascinating customs and traditions of the Dzay people. Overnight accommodation will be in a homestay.

Day 2: Sapa Villages Trek, Bamboo Forest, Waterfall, and Return to Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

Start your day with breakfast alongside your hosts before embarking on a picturesque trek through rice paddies and bamboo forests. Marvel at the panoramic view of Giang Ta Chai village and take a refreshing break at the base of a charming waterfall, perfect for a swim if the weather permits. Following a delicious lunch at a local family’s home, cross a suspension bridge and continue trekking until reaching the road where your driver awaits to transport you back to Sapa. Enjoy some free time for a shower and relaxation before departing via Limousine van back to Hanoi around 2:45 pm, arriving at approximately 8:00 pm.

Day 3: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay Luxury Cruise with Marine Activities (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast at your hotel around 7:45 am, your guide and driver will collect you for an excursion to the magnificent Halong Bay. Upon arrival around 12:30 pm, you’ll board a remarkable cruise ship. Settle in with a welcome drink as the cruise sails on the tranquil emerald waters, offering breathtaking views of the karst islands. Indulge in delicious Vietnamese cuisine before participating in kayaking activities along the island shores.

As the day transitions into evening, engage in a traditional Vietnamese cooking class, followed by a delightful dinner on board. Optional night activities such as fishing or dancing await on this luxurious cruise.

Day 4: Halong Bay Cruise and Return to Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

Begin your day early with a Taichi class on the ship’s sun deck, harmonizing your body and mind. Witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the bay while enjoying a delectable breakfast as your cruise navigates deeper into the UNESCO heritage site. After lunch on the boat, cruise back to the harbor and return to Hanoi, arriving around 3:30 pm. Enjoy free time to explore the Old Quarters before spending the night at a hotel.

Day 5: Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Return to Hanoi (Breakfast)

Conclude your North Vietnam highlight tour with an unforgettable experience in Ninh Binh (Tam Coc). Depart from your hotel at 7:30 am, heading to Ninh Binh where you’ll visit the historic Hoa Lu ancient Kingdom, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, and explore the Mua Cave, known as the Cave of Dance. A climb of 500 steps rewards you with a breathtaking panoramic view of the region.

Following lunch at a traditional restaurant, embark on a scenic cruise on the Ngo Dong river in Tam Coc, marveling at the stunning karst mountains and lush rice fields along the riverbanks. Finally, return to Hanoi by bus around 6:00 pm, concluding your North Vietnam highlight tour.
