Discover the authentic culture of Central Vietnam on this full-day tour from Hoi An. Start your morning in Cam Thanh Coconut Village, where you’ll hop on a traditional Vietnamese basket boat, learn to paddle through lush palm forests, and participate in local fishing techniques like casting nets and catching crabs.
Next, try your hand at lantern making with skilled local artisans and create your own colorful lantern to take home. Then, enjoy a hands-on cooking class at a local fisherman’s house, where you’ll learn to prepare delicious Vietnamese dishes and witness a live fire performance by the chef.
After lunch, head to the My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ancient ruins of the Champa Kingdom with your guide and enjoy a traditional Champa dance performance.
End your day with a peaceful boat cruise along the Thu Bon River back to Hoi An, passing by scenic countryside and catching the sunset over the water.

Itinerary
About 9:00 – 9:15 AM: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel to begin your journey to Cam Thanh Coconut Village and the lantern-making class.
Visit local craftsmen with skillful hands who will show you how to create brightly colored lanterns. With expert guidance, you can make your own lantern as a meaningful gift for your family.
Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of Cam Thanh Village. Enjoy a relaxing boat trip through the beautiful coconut forest, participate in traditional fishing activities, catch crabs with local experts, and experience round-net and cast-net fishing as practiced by local fishermen.
Learn how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat. Watch an exciting basket boat performance. Return to a fisherman’s house to enjoy lunch with mineral water.
12:30 PM: After finishing the Coconut Jungle Tour, we will take you back to your hotel or to our office for a short rest. You may also relax at a nearby coffee shop (about an hour) before preparing for the next trip to My Son Sanctuary.
1:00 – 1:30 PM: Our driver and tour guide will pick you up and continue the journey to explore My Son Sanctuary.
2:30 PM: At My Son, spend about 2 hours exploring the sanctuary with a local English-speaking guide, gaining insights into the history and culture of the ancient Champa civilization. Stroll among centuries-old temples, admire their unique architecture, and enjoy a captivating traditional Champa dance performance (Apsara Dance).
4:30 PM: Return to the minivan and transfer to the wharf for a boat trip back to Hoi An. Enjoy the cool breeze on board and beautiful sunset scenery along the Thu Bon River, the largest river in Central Vietnam. Get your camera ready to capture daily life along the riverbanks. Enjoy Vietnamese banh mi during the boat trip.
6:00 PM: Arrive in Hoi An and drop-off at your hotel. Tour ends.
