Get picked up from your central hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. Pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho – the heart of the Mekong Delta region. The first stop is Vinh Trang Pagoda. Explore and admire the unique architecture of this historic site, which features a blend of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese influences.

Continue your trip to My Tho and take a boat cruise along the Mekong River where you can escape the busy town. Pass by the Tortoise islet and the Dragon, Phoenix, and arrive at Unicorn Islet. This journey takes you through tranquil fruit orchards, and rustic villages where you can observe the daily lives of locals.

Enjoy a sampan ride through the coconut trees-lined canals. Disembark and explore the village on foot. Visit local families where you can enjoy fruits, honey tea and wine while listening to traditional music performed by the villagers. This is a chance to witness the region’s rural life up close. After that, enjoy a local lunch (vegan food available).

Continue your trip to cruise to Ben Tre province – the land of coconuts where you can tour a coconut farm and witness the process of making coconut candy, rice paper, and other coconut-based products. After that, you will have time to relax on a hammock or bike around the village.

As the sun sets, travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 4:45 PM.
