Your private trek begins with a scenic walk through Sapa’s breathtaking terraced rice fields, passing through lush valleys and hidden trails. Along the way, you’ll visit Ý Lình Hồ and Lao Chải villages, home to the Black Hmong people, where you’ll learn about their traditional way of life.

Next, continue to Tả Van village, where the Dzay ethnic group resides. Enjoy a homemade lunch while soaking in the stunning mountain views. Afterward, trek through bamboo forests to Giàng Tả Chải waterfall, a peaceful spot to relax before heading back.

Throughout the journey, your local Hmong guide will share stories about the land, culture, and daily life in the mountains. This trek offers an unforgettable mix of adventure, nature, and authentic cultural experiences.

Meeting point

Your guide will meet you at 9:00 AM in front of Sapa Stone Church. After a brief introduction about the guide and the tour, you’ll start trekking downhill to Y Linh Ho village, home to many Black Hmong families. You’ll continue walking to Lao Chai village, where you’ll stop for lunch at a local house while enjoying views of the lush green rice fields. After lunch, the journey continues to Ta Van village, where the majority of the residents are from the Giay ethnic minority. You’ll spend the night at a cozy local homestay, experiencing real village life.
Day 2: Ta Van – Bamboo Forest – Waterfall – Giang Ta Chai (~5 hours trekking)
After breakfast, you’ll hike through a beautiful bamboo forest, reaching a scenic waterfall in Giang Ta Chai. You can relax, take photos, or even swim if the weather allows. The trek continues to Giang Ta Chai village, home of the Red Dao ethnic group, where you’ll stop for lunch. End the tour
