RURAL MEKONG WITH HOME STAY EXPERIENCE

Day 1: Sai Gon -Cai Be – Vinh Long

8:00 am- 10:30 am

Travelling by road south of Saigon (approximately 2.5hours) journey into the Mekong Delta to the riverine town of Cai Be.

11:00 am- 12:00 am

Proceed to Tan Phong island for a biking or walking tour through village paths, where you can observe the local daily life es. During the excursion, you can also make a few stops to see the dried water-hyacinths being woven into various products like baskets, bags, wallets, and shoes.Take a break at a local garden to enjoy some cups

of tea while listening to traditional music.

14:00 pm-15:00 pm

You will then return to your boat, crossing the Mekong River, one of the world’s longest rivers, to reach An Binh Island.Lunch is serviced on the boat.Check-in your home-stay even basic but it affords you the opportunity to experience life with a local family and find out more about their culture. Day 2: Vinh Long- Sai Gon
8:00 am- 9:30 am
Taking a boat trip through the canals to a pottery making village. It might be busy sometimes but if you are interested in getting a glimpse into the local cottage industries.

9:30 am- 10:30 am
Continue to a floating village where they farm catfish
