Life here revolves around the river, where vibrant floating markets showcase the locals’ bustling trade. The province exudes tranquility, with rice paddies and mangrove forests painting a serene backdrop.

2D1N TRANQUIL GETAWAY TO BEN TRE

Day 1: Saigon – My Tho – Phong Nam – Con Oc
7:30-9:30 am:

The car takes you from Saigon to My Tho tourist wharf
9:30-12:00 am:
You will board your Mango Cruises boat at 30/4 Pier and head to An Hoa River. The sampan will take you to Phong Nam village in Giong Trom, where you will take the cycling trip through the Village to explore more of the local daily life. Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Visit the coconut spirits factory which supplies to most local markets in the area. Continue to take a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants.

13:30-15:30 pm:
Your boat will bring you to My Long village where you will meet with a local family, Mr Sau Tuong. Now he and his wife live on making rice paper, which is the most famous specialty of My Long village. Have a chat with him and enjoy the crispy rice paper made by his wife, and observe the process of how it is made

15:30-17:30 pm:

Continuing to cruise to Con Oc, the island which is famous with coconut products. Hop on a local bike for a leisure ride to Ms Dung house. Her family has been well-known of making handicrafts from coconut shell. Have a chat with the locals and
get back to your boat to enjoy the sunset in the late afternoon.

Day 2: Vam Nuoc Trong – Mo Cay – Saigon
8:00-10:00 am:

Tourists will explore Tan Thanh village by bikes. Stop to visit the coconut fiber
processing at the local village where you can see how the locals utilize every bit of the coconut.Continue on to visit Mo Cay local wet market before getting back to the cruise.

10a.m -12a.m:

Check-out and enjoy 2-hour drive back to Saigon. You will be dropped off at Mo Cay where your driver is await.
