HUE, VIETNAM

Hué is a city that symbolizes the strength and imperial majesty of past Vietnamese dynasties. Founded as a royal city in 1687 (the original citadel city of Phu Xuan was built on the same site), Hue is your gateway to the treasures of Vietnam’s royal past. Legacies of the city’s dynastic past are everywhere and keep visitors busy with visits to elaborate tombs and pagodas, mausoleums and assembly halls.

EVENING HOSTED DINNER AT GARDEN HOUSE (3 HOURS)

Around 5.00 pm, take a short drive to the ancient village on the rural outskirt of Hue. Walk leisurely in the countryside to immerse yourself in the local lifestyle. Enjoy a scenic landscape with your camera ready when the sun sets over green fields and flower gardens. Make a stop at the local handicrafts workshop about rice paper, and rice mill, or visit the hidden temple to learn more about cultural relics.

Engage in a casual talk at an authentic ancient house where you will not only get an insight into how locals live but also have simple hands-on cooking for the dinner with typical cuisine and specialty. Enjoy dinner in a rustic yet relaxing atmosphere. An herbal footbath from garden plants will be a special

treat of the day afterward.
