Day 1: Cycling around the ancient village
Take a short drive to Kim Long village, known for its ancient architecture and way of life. Embark on a leisurely 5km cycling tour of the village on a local bike. Stop by local handicraft workshops, such as those producing rice paper and rice mills, to witness traditional craftsmanship.
Return to the garden house and enjoy a cup of tea with your host family. Learn about their daily life, the challenges of preserving traditional architecture, and their efforts to do so. Savor a delicious home-cooked dinner prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
In the evening, it’s time to practice Vietnamese with the host, listen the peace of the countryside, or explore recommended selection of books and movies abour Hue.
Day 2: Garden Exploration
Breakfast is well-prepared with garden-sourced products. Then roll up your sleeves and join some garden activities with the host. Then opt to choose either to go fishing on the nearby river or immerse yourself in the spiritual journey at the nearby pagoda or just simply enjoy your serene stay with the host family.
