  Full description

  Your private day trip begins with hotel pickup in Hanoi by a comfortable private car and your English-speaking tour guide. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Ninh Binh, with a short stop for a restroom or coffee break if needed.

  Your first destination is Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the political and cultural center of Vietnam during the 10th and 11th centuries. Visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le while learning about the country’s early history and the first independent dynasties.

  Next, continue to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex or Tam Coc for a traditional sampan boat ride. A local rower will take you through winding rivers, limestone mountains, and natural caves. The boat trip lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and offers spectacular views of Ninh Binh’s UNESCO-listed landscape.

  After the boat ride, enjoy an optional lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, choose to cycle through the countryside to a local duck farm and café. Ride along peaceful village roads, rice fields, and local homes before arriving at the farm. There, experience duck herding by leading a flock of ducks with guidance from a local farmer. You can also relax with a drink at the countryside café and enjoy the peaceful rural atmosphere.

  Your final stop is Mua Cave. Climb approximately 500 stone steps to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain for one of the best panoramic views in Ninh Binh, overlooking limestone karsts, winding rivers, and rice fields. After taking in the scenery and photos, relax on the drive back to Hanoi.

  The tour lasts approximately 10 hours and includes private transportation, hotel pickup and drop-off, and an English-speaking tour guide. Lunch is optional and can be arranged based on your preference.
