NINH BINH, TRANG AN
The Trang An Landscape Complex is a stunning natural and cultural site located in Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is renowned for its breathtaking karst scenery, including limestone mountains, caves, rivers, and valleys. The complex is also home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and the Bai Dinh Pagoda.
FULL DAY NINH BINH – TRANG AN COMPLEX (11 HOURS)
Around 7.30 am, enjoy a 2-hour drive south of Hanoi toward Ninh Binh province. It is home to the Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that encompasses Tam Coc – Trang An scenic landscape


Upon reaching Trang An Scenic Landscape complex, get on a rowing boat travelling along the small river with scenic mountains and green fields landscape. The sampan takes you to visit the cave complex of Trang An in mystery and wildness, the scenery of mountains and river.
Lunch is at a local restaurant with Ninh Binh specialities.

In the afternoon, visit the remains of the once impressive citadel of Hoa Lu, once the capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. It witnessed many important historical events in the early days: the union of Vietnam after the rebellion of 12 warlords, the war with Chinaâs Southern Han Dynasty, and the formation of Hanoi.

The more energetic may undertake the climb of some 200 steps for a rewarding view and exploration of the temple of Dinh Tien Hoang Emperor. Transfer back to Hanoi afterward.
