Sapa is a town in the Lao Cai Province in northwestern Vietnam. Nestled in the Hoang Lien Son mountains, Sapa is known for its stunning natural scenery, including rice terraces, mountains, and valleys. The town is also home to a variety of ethnic minority groups, including the H’mong, Dzao, and Tay. Sapa is a popular tourist destination, especially for trekking and hiking.
FULL DAY SA SENG, HANG DA AND THAO HONG DEN VILLAGES (8 HOURS).

Enjoy a day trekking through the spectacular Hoang Lien Mountain range and Sapa and Muong Hoa valleys. whilst discovering the unique customs and way of life of the Black Hmong ethnic group of people. It is a less–explored, up–and–downhill trekking route through Sa Seng, Hang Da, and Thao Hong Den villages. Capture a magnificent landscape from a 1,000m height overlooking Muong Hoa valley.

Take a short drive to the start of the walking trail. Gradually uphill for approximately two hours along the narrow valley between the mountains. Visit Sa Seng village and get inside a setup typical of a Hmong dwelling: wooden roofed houses supported by stone and earthen walls with pot–belly pigs, chickens, and water buffaloes roaming freely and children entertaining themselves with their own simple but imaginative toys and games.
After lunch, continue along the same trail on a gradual incline for around an hour until you reach Hang Da village and visit a local house.

Trek easy trails for thirty minutes before it begins a steep, narrow downhill stretch for around two hours passing through Hau Chu Ngai and then onto Thao Hong Den village, consisting of several small hamlets dotted across the rocky landscape..
Finally, you will arrive at Hau Thao settlement for a transfer back to your hotel. (Remark: 6–hour hiking of 16 km).
