Day 1: Ha Giang City – Hidden Heaven Gate – Secret H’Mong Village – Dong Van

Depart early from Ha Giang City. Instead of the standard highway, take a lesser-known backroad to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, offering a crowd-free panoramic view of the Twin Mountains. Enjoy a traditional breakfast at a local market rarely visited by mass tourism.

Drive through the breathtaking Chinh Pha Pass. Visit a secluded, non-commercial H’Mong village. Participate in a short traditional hemp-weaving workshop guided by a local artisan, learning about their ancient textile crafts. Explore the Vuong King’s Palace with a deep-dive historical narrative from your local guide.

Arrive in Dong Van. Check into a locally-owned, sustainable eco-lodge. Gather around for a “Family Dinner” featuring organic, home-cooked regional specialties and taste local corn wine while sharing stories with your hosts.

Day 2: Ma Pi Leng Sky Walk – Nho Que River Kayaking – Ha Giang City

Catch the sunrise over the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass—one of Vietnam’s four greatest mountain passes. Instead of just looking from the viewpoint, take a thrilling walking trail along the cliff edge for unmatched, unobstructed photos.

Descend to the Nho Que River. Avoid the crowded cruise boats; enjoy a private kayaking or bamboo rafting experience through the majestic Tu San Canyon—the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia.

Head back toward Ha Giang City via the scenic Meo Vac route, stopping at a hidden panoramic viewpoint for a farewell coffee. Arrive back in Ha Giang City around 5:30 PM, perfectly timed for your limousine bus back to Hanoi.
