Full description

What Sets Us Apart & Tour Overview

Ha Giang is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular adventures — but it is not the place for a careless, overcrowded ride. The roads are steep, remote, and constantly changing, so this 4-day eco journey is designed for travelers who want the thrill of the Loop with real preparation, local support, and a more meaningful way to travel.

Your experience begins at Ha Giang Trip Homestay, where our team welcomes you with a clear briefing on the route, road conditions, weather, schedule, and safety rules. You will know what to expect before the engines start. We also take bad weather seriously: if conditions become unsafe, we provide free accommodation at our homestay instead of pushing the group through dangerous passes.

This trip is built to feel personal, not mass-produced. A Wi-Fi hotspot helps you stay connected, while our customer app keeps your itinerary, meal plan, timing, and activity suggestions easy to follow. You will also receive a digital tourist map with VR previews, helping you understand the landscapes and villages before you arrive.

Over 4 days, you travel deep into Vietnam’s northern highlands, where limestone mountains, ethnic villages, rivers, valleys, and winding passes create one of Asia’s most memorable road journeys. Day 1 takes you from Ha Giang into the gateway of the Dong Van Karst Plateau, passing Tay villages, rice terraces, Bac Sum Pass, and Quan Ba Heaven Gate before staying overnight in a traditional highland village.

On day 2, the ride becomes more dramatic. Visit Lung Tam hemp-weaving village, cross Can Ty Pass, stop in Yen Minh, and continue through Tham Ma Pass, Nine-Turn Pass, Lung Cam Village, the Hmong King’s Palace, Lung Cu Flagpole, and Lo Lo Chai Village. By evening, arrive in Dong Van Old Quarter, where stone houses, local dishes, and lantern-lit streets give the journey a different atmosphere.

Day 3 is the emotional peak of the Loop. Ride across the legendary Ma Pi Leng area, where cliffs, deep valleys, and the emerald Nho Que River create the scenery that makes Ha Giang famous. Here, you also join our guide-led Clean Footprint initiative: at safe viewpoints, your small group receives eco-friendly bags and gloves to collect plastic waste, which is taken back for proper treatment. It is a short but meaningful way to give something back to the mountains instead of only passing through them.

Afterward, cruise through Tu San Gorge, then continue to Ban Ang’s Jade Stream for lunch, bamboo rafting, hidden caves, and wild swimming before heading to peaceful Du Gia. On the final day, ride through quiet rural roads and Duong Thuong Valley back to Ha Giang. After returning to basecamp, shower, rest, and receive your personalized Ha Giang Loop Finisher certificate.

This tour is for travelers who want more than just “doing the Loop.†It is for people who care about safety, scenery, local culture, responsible travel, and being looked after from the first briefing to the final goodbye.
