Visit the house of the most celebrated water puppet artisan, who devoted his whole life to water puppetry. He changed 10 square meters on his 4th floor into a mini-home 19round19 where he can introduce you to the unique traditional art form that originated from the Red River Delta of Vietnam in the tenth century.

HALF DAY BEHIND THE SCENE WATER PUPPETRY

After a short tea break with the host, we’ll have the opportunity to watch his own water puppet plays, which tell both ancient and modern stories of Vietnamese traditions and everyday life. Furthermore, gain insight into how a water puppet performance presented in a mini-home setting differs from those staged in traditional theatres.

When the show concludes, it will be your turn to roll up your sleeves, handle the puppets, and experience the art firsthand by learning how to control them.
