Full description

Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or central areas. Sit back and enjoy a comfortable drive to the western countryside of Hanoi.

Arrive at Tay Phuong Pagoda, located on a peaceful hill surrounded by nature. Climb the stone steps to discover one of Vietnam’s most beautiful ancient pagodas, famous for its laterite architecture, over 70 exquisite wooden Buddha statues, and strong artistic and spiritual value. Your guide will introduce the history, Buddhist culture, and local beliefs associated with this sacred site.

Continue to Thach Xa Village, well known for its traditional bamboo dragonfly craft. Visit local workshops, learn how bamboo dragonflies are handmade, interact with artisans, and understand village craftsmanship. Try balancing a bamboo dragonfly yourself. This is a meaningful cultural stop that supports local community livelihoods.

Start a leisure cycling tour through the rural villages of the Thach That area. Ride along quiet village paths, green rice fields, small canals and ponds, and traditional village houses. This gentle ride offers a real glimpse into everyday life in the Red River Delta and is suitable for all fitness levels.

Enjoy a Vietnamese-style dinner at a local restaurant near the show area, featuring fresh regional dishes. Relax and recharge before the evening performance.

Experience Vietnam’s most famous outdoor real-scene show, performed on water with live farmers as performers, traditional music and folk singing, stunning lighting and visual effects, and stories of Northern Vietnamese culture, spirituality, and rural life. The show lasts about 60 minutes and takes place in an open-air setting at the foot of Thay Mountain.

After the show, transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive at your hotel around 22:00 – 22:30, depending on traffic.
