Skip waiting in the lines at the Water Puppet Theater in the humid and hot weather. Water puppetry, with a 50-minute performance which once depicted the daily life of villagers such as farming, fishing, and romance, has evolved to showcase plays based on ancient Vietnamese legends, myths, and history.

The renowned Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre in Hanoi has its roots in this 11th-century tradition, where puppeteers used large rods to support the puppets, creating the illusion of their movements across the water as they stood hidden behind a screen.

• Our service is suitable for those who want to ensure their tickets are reserved in advance for their preferred show time.
• There is no luggage storage facility at the venue.
• Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.
• Pets are not allowed inside the venue.
• Flash photography is prohibited inside the venue.
• Please enter the venue at least 15 minutes before the show begins. Late arrivals will not be admitted after the performance starts.
• Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
• This activity is not stroller or wheelchair accessible.
• Ticket availability may change if a show becomes fully booked. In that case, you will be moved to the next available show. If you are unable to attend the new show time, we will provide a full refund.
