Full description

The tour begins with a visit to a Buddhist pagoda to gain a deeper understanding of the local people’s religious beliefs. The guide will tell you about the local culture, the worship of different deities, and the belief in the circle of life.

Next, we’ll drive to a funeral home, where we’ll walk inside to observe funeral ceremonies. Our guides will share the customs of a burial, along with some ghost stories and personal experiences. Afterward, we’ll take you to Chinatown and stop at the Ghost Building, an abandoned building in Chinatown due to its Fung Shui (spirited atmosphere).
We’ll then take a break to enjoy a Vietnamese baguette (Banh Mi – one of the best sandwiches in the world) and local drinks (coffee, juice, or a smoothie) at a local cafe, just like the locals do.

Finally, we continue our visit to the monument of Thich Quang Đức, who immolated himself to protest the persecution of Buddhists in 1963.
