    Full description

Choose between a sunrise or afternoon walk and experience Hoi An as it slowly comes to life or transitions toward evening. Led by a British photographer based here for several years, this small-group experience moves beyond the busiest streets into backstreets, markets, riverside paths, and neighbourhoods where daily life continues at its own pace.

    What to expect:

Sunrise or afternoon option, timed around the best light
Walk through local markets and backstreets
Time beyond the main tourist areas
Coffee or simple local food stop
Small group (1–4 people), relaxed pace

The focus is on observation, timing, and natural light rather than landmarks. You’ll photograph real moments as they unfold – people at work, quiet interactions, and everyday scenes that reflect how life is lived here.

This isn’t a photoshoot or a technical workshop. You don’t need any experience. Guidance is simple and practical, helping you work with light, approach scenes respectfully, and get more from what’s in front of you.

We may (almost definitely) pause at a local café along the way for coffee and a short break before continuing.

Routes remain flexible and adapt to the light, activity, and pace of the group.
