1 – Hue Imperial City, built from 1804 by King Gia Long and finished in 1833 by King Minh Mang. This area was used as living and working quarter for Kings and Royal Family Members of the Nguyen Dynasty until 1945, and was recognized by UNESCO as WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE.

2 – Thanh Toan Covered Bridge, a beautiful bridge built in 1776 with money donated from a local lady. From here, we will take a walk to explore a famous Thank Toan Local market to learn about daily live of local people.

3 – Khai Dinh Tomb: this is known as the smallest, but the most elaborated tomb of Nguyen’s Emperors. Building is much more elaborately designed compare to other tombs of Nguyen’s Emperors. This was also built with mix architectures of Oriental, Indian and European.

4 – Minh Mang Tomb: King had appointed design and location himself, the tomb was built mostly by his successor and son – Thieu Tri King during the years 1840 to 1843 since Minh Mang had passed away in 1841. Minh Mang Tomb is considered to be the best combined natural landscapes and architectural complexes.

5 – Tu Duc Tomb: known as one of the most beautiful and picturesque works of architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The Tomb is 12 Hectar and took 3 years with 3.000 workers to finish.

6 – Vong Canh Hill: where you can enjoy beautiful view of perfume river and learn more about Vietnam War from other view points.

7 – Thuy Xuan Village: workshop area that specializes in making incense sticks and conical Hats, there you will have chance to try making incense sticks for your souvenir.

8 – Tiger Arena: built in 1830 and used as Colosseum for fighting between Elephant and Tiger for entertainment of Kings until 1904. Here, you will learn about brutality of the fight in the past.

9 – Tu Hieu Pagoda, this was house for living of Eunuchs of the Nguyen Dynasty after they retired from working for royal family. The pagoda is also known as the Root Temple and is one of the greatest temples, a cultural and historical site of Hue.

10 – Thien Mu Pagoda: Also on the north shore of the Perfume River about 3km from the Imperial Citadel. You can get there by dragon boat along the Perfume River, or for those feeling more energetic, a pleasant bicycle ride. The Thien Mu Pagoda is regarded as the unofficial symbol of the former imperial capital. Today it is the home of the Austin Motor Vehicle which drove Thich Quang Duc to his self-immolation in Saigon in 1963 in protest against the Diem regime. It is still home to many monks and a holy site visited by many everyday.

11 – Perfume river, where we will take a relaxing Dragon Boat cruising on the river to go back to Hue city. Get off the boat and our tour guide with driver will take you back to your hotel.
