Full description

OnBird is the industry pioneer in introducing “Scientific Snorkeling” to snorkelers. We consider external factors such as water conditions and lighting, which can vary by date and hour, to plan a professional snorkeling experience. Based on these factors, we select the best time frame, whether morning or afternoon, for your adventure.

We are going to explore a combination of small islets around the south of Phu Quoc Island, discovering two hidden and selected reefs with a total snorkeling time of approximately 1.5 to 1.8 hours, all on a touristy-avoiding itinerary.

After experiencing the beautiful underwater landscapes of the southern reefs, our speedboat will head to a remote island where we set up BBQ and enjoy chillax time on a small island

Each low-impact reef snorkel tour is designed with the following stops:

2 Coral Reefs:
Half-moon reef or Little Hill or North-east Coral Reef: to explore different depth range of water
Sword Reef: where OnBird is carrying out coral restoration planting
BBQ Island: Enjoy island atmosphere & BBQ on the island (to prevent grease and food leftovers from harming the ocean and protecting the coral reefs, we don’t discharge into the sea)

Know before you go

1. Do not forget to have a meal and take the seasick pills at least 30 minutes before departure.
2. Bring towels and dry clothes to change after the tour.
3. Please wear your swimsuit beforehand as we’ll head straight to the beach, allowing you to be ready for water activities right away. Please avoid using chemical sunscreen (containing 3 ingredients oxybenzone + benzydilene + octinoxate) which is regarded as harmful to our coral species. Long-sleeved swimsuits are highly recommended.
5. In case you would like to rinse off after snorkeling, a fee of 30,000 VND will be charged at the beach bar of the last island (due to the lack of fresh water on the islet).
