Itinerary Highlights:

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital:
Visit and explore the history of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, an important historical site and part of the core area of the UNESCO-listed Trang An Heritage Complex. It served as the capital of Vietnam in the 10th century under the Dinh and Early Le dynasties, following over 1,000 years of Chinese domination.
Visitors will learn about historical stories such as Empress Duong Van Nga (10th century), the only woman in Vietnamese history to be crowned Empress of two successive dynasties: the Dinh Dynasty (Dinh Tien Hoang) and the Early Le Dynasty (Le Dai Hanh). Today, it preserves many temples, tombs, and a distinctive ancient charm.

Visit Bai Dinh Temple Complex:
Explore Vietnam’s largest Buddhist complex, blending ancient and modern styles with grand temples, giant Buddha statues, and Asia’s longest Arhat corridor.
Admire the 10m bronze Buddha and peaceful courtyards among limestone mountains.

Enjoy a 30-minute cycling activity to discover local life, or relax at the restaurant and take in views of lakes, valleys, and surrounding landscapes.

Enjoy your lunch at a scenic restaurant featuring a refreshing outdoor swimming pool. After your meal, take a dip, relax on a sun lounger, or simply unwind in the peaceful surroundings.

Trang An (UNESCO World Heritage Site):
Enjoy a scenic boat ride through tunnel caves and dramatic limestone landscapes. When you arrive, you’ll understand why director Jordan Vogt-Roberts carefully considered locations in Thailand and Vietnam—especially Trang An—before making the final decision for Kong: Skull Island.

Tam Coc:
Enjoy a 1.5-hour boat trip along the Ngo Dong River, passing golden rice fields, limestone karsts, and caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang Ba). Surrounded by majestic layered mountains, the river gently winds through valleys and blends seamlessly into the fields, creating a peaceful and poetic landscape. Here, Tam Coc reveals its serene beauty like a living watercolor painting—one of the most breathtaking scenes in Ninh Binh.

Mua Cave:
Visit Mua Cave and climb 500 steps to the peak for a panoramic view over Tam Coc and surrounding countryside.
